The incredible bionic man

Imagen
THE INCREDIBLE BIONIC MAN    Frank, short for Frankenstein and named after Victor Frankenstein in Mary Shelley's 1818 novel, is fitted with 200 processors. It has 70 circuit boards and 26 individual motors. The 'skin' of the robot features more than one million sensors while a functional circulatory system, including a heart, powers it from the inside.     Frank's face is made of silicone and is a replica of Dr Meyer’s.                                                                 VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBiOQKonkWs

Homicidial robot

HOMICIDIAL ROBOT The accident was the first of its kind in Japan, a nation which has the largest robot workforce in the world. An industrial robot has killed a worker who was trying to repair it; the first accident of its kind reported in Japan which has the world’s largest robot workforce. Details of the accident, which occurred in July at a plant of Kawasaki heavy industries, were revealed yesterday by the Labour Standards Bureau of Hyogo prefecture, western Japan. Kenji Urada, aged, 37, a worker at the Akashi plant of the company, was trapped by the work arm of the robot which pinned him against a machine which cuts gears. He had entered a prohibited area around the robot to repair it, the Labour Standards Bureau said.                                        ...

Leonardo´s da Vinci

LEONARDO´S ROBOT Leonardo's robot was a humanoid automaton designed by Leonardo da Vinci around the year 1495. The design notes for the robot appeared in rediscovered sketchbooks in the 1950s. It is not known if during the life of Leonardo an attempt was made to build the device, but once the discovery of the drawings was made, it was quickly built faithfully in Leonardo's designs, and it was shown to be specifically functional. The robot is a warrior dressed in German-Italian medieval armor, which is apparently capable of making several movements similar to those of humans. These movements include sitting, moving the arms, neck and jaw in an anatomically perfect way. It is interpreted that this is the result of Leonardo's anatomical investigation in the canon of proportions he describes in the Vitruvian Man. In 2007, Mario Taddei wrote a book about Leonardo da Vinci's robot to find new drawings and clues, and presented an even more correct reconstruction of the r...

ROBOTICS Technique that is used in the design and construction of robots and devices that perform operations or works, usually in industrial facilities and in replacement of human labor. Interesting facts about robots: Robotics expert Henrik Christensen predicts that humans will start having sex with robots in four years. Leonardo da Vinci drew the plans for an armored humanoid machine in 1495. In the 5th century BC C. Arquitas, a friend of Plato, built a mechanical bird powered by a jet of steam or compressed air. It could be said that it was the first robot in history. The first known case of a homicidal robot occurred in 1981, when a robotic arm crushed a Japanese worker at the Kawasaki factory. Rex, who is now better known as Frank (in honor of Frankenstein), is the first bionic man ever created with a full body. Scientists had long since managed to create artificial organs separately, but never before had there been an artificial body that was fully fun...
